Pharmacogenomics
Pharmacogenomics combines pharmacology (science of drugs) and genomics (study of genes). It is a study of how genes affect a person's response to a drug, thereby using a patient's genetic profile to predict a drugs efficacy, guide dosage and improve safety.
What we do.
We provide personalized optimal medication and dosage recommendations by analyzing pharmacogenetics test results and the patient's complete medical history.
We provide a whole-person approach not only a medication review but also lifestyle and goals check to improve patient health outcomes by performing comprehensive medication management.
We provide medication education and counseling.
How does it work?
The most important step you can take is to contact us for a free 15 min discovery call!
Step 1
Free 15 min Discovery Call
You will find out if genetic testing could be helpful for you or someone you care for.
Step 2 - Initial visit
We collect all the information about medications the patient is taking and other information that is pertinent for optimal pharmacotherapy. We collect a DNA sample by painlessly swabbing the inside of your cheek or you can collect the sample using a home collection kit.
Step 3 - Evaluation
The DNA sample will be sent to a lab. It will take 7-10 days to get the results. We (pharmacists) review
the lab results.
Step 4 - Final visit
We meet with the patient (either in person or remotely) for final discussion to present recommendations.
Vision
To improve life by ensuring optimal and personalized medication use.
Mission
To provide personalized medication therapy that is optimized for each patient by performing comprehensive medication review and interpreting genetic information.
